THE NEXT STEP in
a process to safer driving . . .
Driver Training
Courses designed for inexperienced drivers to develop basic
driving skills, accident prevention, skid control, panic stops,
braking techniques and highway driving awareness programmes
will assure that the novice driver is prepared to handle the
daily obstacles of city and commuter traffic.

The Bill Brack
advanced driver training clinic consists of a short classroom
session and vehicle safety inspection and a series of driving
exercises designed to illustrate the dynamics and performance
of the vehicle. The on track exercises include a simple slalom,
a rapid lane change, obstacle avoidance, and emergency wet
and dry braking.
Students would first be
taken through the full range of exercises as passengers with
an instructor at the wheel, prior to them taking control of
the vehicles themselves. The students then proceed through
the exercise at city traffic speeds to gain familiarity and
a feel for the dynamics of the vehicle, building up speed
with consecutive runs until reaching highway speeds.

It is our firm belief that
students graduating from our advanced driving course will
have a greater understanding of their vehicle dynamics and
their own ability to control their vehicle to avoid accidents
and personal injury.
The training
course is completed in a single day, with the classroom and
driving sessions comprised of a maximum of 20 students.

VEHICLE HANDLING DYNAMICS
Moderated exercises sharpen the skills (hand-eye-foot control
& co-ordination). We stress precision rather than speed.
EMERGENCY BRAKING
Our series of emergency braking exercises in both wet and
dry (and seasonal winter conditions) demonstrates that preparedness
and following at a safe distance - are prime safety habits.
SAFE HIGHWAY SPEED
LANE CHANGES
This skill is taught in both normal and sudden emergency mode,
gradually increasing speeds until highway speed proficiency
is reached.
SOFT SHOULDER
RECOVERY
This skill simulates dropping two right side wheels off the
pavement and safely recovering vehicle position. This is seen
as a primary method for avoiding cross-over head-on collisions.
MERGING INTO AND
OUT OF TRAFFIC
A skill that emphasizes matching the traffic flow speed and
spacing.
INTERSECTION SMARTS
Heads up training gets their eyes, ears and brains stimulated
and concentrated for the tasks at hand.
UNSAFE VEHICLES
We professionally scrutinize the participants vehicle to identify
and educate upon certain aspects of pre-drive safety.
