What We Do
Contact us about SPRING FLING on April 28, 29 & 30 2017
Custom and Corporate Events
We custom-tailor driving events geared to the objectives of an organization’s particular needs at a racetrack or other controlled facilities (e.g. large parking lots). These events are typically held in a relaxed and fun atmosphere where drivers are given new skills that will assist them in day to day driving and enable them to be better drivers while meeting the objective(s) of the host. For more information, please call us.
BDC – High Performance Driving
This is an advanced car control program held at Shannonville Motorsport Park. It not only teaches drivers to be more skilled, it just may save your life. We believe that this is an opportunity that everyone should experience at least once and if they like and learn from it, come back to build their skills further! The in-car coach tailors their instruction to the individual.
Confidence Builder – Drivers that need some confidence building (due to a motor vehicle incident, or other traumatic event) have found our program to be beneficial in helping them regain their trust in their abilities and learn some new skills to make themselves more comfortable and confident in day to day driving.
Gear-heads Racing – An advanced car control program, held at Shannonville Motorsport Park using your sports car to understand instinctively how it would react to a slippery or high-speed situation.
Fleet Safety Skills – A variation of our Driving Concepts program customized to the client’s particular needs for their fleet safety program.
Advanced Racer Development
For advanced drivers or racers who want to hone their skills to better their lap-times, we provide you with a designated coach for a day, to work on your personal objectives.
If you have advanced driving experience but are more interested in non-sanctioned events, (lapping, Chump Car, Auto Slalom, etc.) you can sign up for this program for personal all day, one on one coaching. Drivers need to ideally bring the vehicle they use at the track to maximize the benefits of this course, driver and passenger restraints must be identical.
Driver Consulting – geared to improve drivers involved in organized motorsport. Services are customized to the driver’s objectives.
Shannonville Race Academy
For drivers wishing to compete in sanctioned competitive events and who have demonstrated high performance driving skills (you will not be taught how to drive on a track at this school). This school caters to those students who have significant track lapping experience. You must have previously been known to us or provide acceptable credentials or a driver would need to participate in one of our ‘Brack Driving Concepts’ dates and be observed. Hey, another track day is not a bad thing!!
This one day program consists of a classroom session (general race rules, race craft, mental preparedness, qualifying and race techniques, etc.) with a written exam, plus on-track race exercises.
Successful completion provides the necessary qualifications to apply for an ASN Canada FIA national novice licence. Dates for this program are arranged at a mutually acceptable time.
